Say it isn’t so! Could the Gossip Girl gang be leaving the Upper East Side?
On The Red Carpet caught up with star Penn Badgley who was honoring the show’s co-creator Stephanie Savage this month at the Gracies Gala in Los Angeles. He told us that Manhattan’s scandalous elite might need their passports when the show returns in the fall.
“There will be a change of environment. I don’t know how you want to take that,” joked Badgley. “But there might be some international cities where we are, you know, having fun.”
Badgley was all hush-hush other than that saying only, “Maybe about, you know, two weeks before we start shooting we’ll have a script. But at the moment, I don’t have anything. I wish I could tell you.”
Demi Moore just joined the cast of Margin Call, an indie drama that begins filming Monday. She’ll play the chief risk management officer at a firm. The film tracks the desperate maneuverings of eight people in a 24-hour period during the early stages of the Wall Street financial crisis. Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, and Stanley Tucci also star, with J.C. Chandor directing his script. It’s the first feature Quinto is producing with his Before The Door Pictures partners Neal Dodson and Corey Moosa. Michael Benaroya and Rob Barnum of Benaroya Pictures also produce with Joe Jenckes. Myriad Pictures has been selling foreign territories since Cannes.

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actor was asked when his relationship with girlfriend Blake Lively transitioned from being professional to personal.
“You know what?” Penn told JustJared.com. “That’s a mystery. I’m not going to let you know that! (laughs) Because nobody knows and I’m gonna leave it that way.”
