THE gorgeous girls on popular TV series Gossip Girl are not the only ones coping with their newfound fame; the good-looking guys on the show have their fair share of interesting experiences as well.
Once, 50 girls in Europe mobbed Penn Badgley, who plays Dan Humphrey, and that left a lasting impression on him.
“They were all 15! It’s overwhelming when it’s happening … They actually had me up against the chain of a fence and I couldn’t move,” Badgley revealed in an interview.
He eventually escaped the madness but he remembers the incident vividly. “It was crazy,” he says.
Co-star Ed Westwick, who plays bad boy Chuck Bass, finds being recognised a surreal experience but he sees it as a good sign.
“It means you’re kind of doing a good job. It means people are watching the show. They’re enjoying it, there’s attention and it’s getting the attention it deserves,” says Westwick.
Gossip Girl hotties Badgley, Westwick and Chace Crawford talk about the show and being the targets of real-life gossip in the latest issue of Galaxie, out on newsstands now.
