He’s also not the only Gossip Girl actor on the move. He and his mother actually ran into costar Penn Badgley on a recent trip to look for lamps at Crate and Barrel.

“He was with his mom shopping for his new place, too,” Crawford told PEOPLE at a Manhattan launch party for the BlackBerry Tour smartphone from Sprint. “It was really funny. I was like, ‘What are we doing here, man?’ And he’s like, ‘I don’t know. Right now it looks like we came together with our moms to Crate and Barrel. What’s going on?’ It was embarrassing.”
