Audition reel #1 – These are entire clips of Penn’s actual audition for the role of Dan Humphrey.

Audition reel #2 – An unknown actress auditions alongside Penn – she is auditioning for the role of Vanessa Abrams.

Audition reel #3 – Amanda Setton – also known as Penelope on Gossip Girl – originally auditioned for the role of Vanessa. In the following clips she auditions with Penn.

Aww, he’s so cute!!!!

I totally can see how he got the role. I’d be interested in seeing other guys who were trying to be Dan and how they portrayed him. Although everyone knows Dan cannot be played by anyone other than Penn Badgley
